Inspired by the efficiency and solidity of the VICLA flagship sheet metal brake, the .SMART hydraulic press brake is equipped with non-active hydraulic crowning and 4 axes (with the possibility of upgrading up to 6) and 300 mm stroke.

.SMART is a traditional sheet metal brake that uses the basic technology of its cousin .SUPERIOR and the same quality contents and technical prerogatives.

The structure of the hydraulic sheet metal brake is built with high quality steel certified S355JR and is subjected to accurate mechanical processing:

high precision electric welding;
use of latest generation mobile column boring machines for centesimal precision finishing;
the solidity of the structure is made exclusively following the direction of lamination, making it exstremely resistant.

Compared to a standard hydraulic press brake, VICLA’s .SMART hydraulic bending machine is caracterized by the bending precision and the movement of the axis at a fast rate.

These results are possible thanks to the parallelism of the side frames, (whose tolerances are within the hundreds) and the rails mounted on the side frames.

Combined together, these two technical features allow to minimize the vibrations and the stress, so that the backgauge can move faster, but maintaining the positioning precision.
